5 Factors to Consider When Designing a Logo for Your Business

  1. Readability. This is perhaps the most important factor to consider. If your logo is not readable, it will be difficult to brand your business – this is one of the most fundamental facets of graphic design. Ideally, you want your logo to be very clear and the text should leave no one guessing. If your logo is not readable, people will get confused and they will give up trying to learn about your business.
  2. Color. This is another important factor, because your logo will be everywhere when you own a business. Ideally, you want to choose a color that will fit your business’ aesthetic, but you also want to find a color that will match other aesthetics as well.
